We were so glad to see Merritt six days before his passing.
He was in great spirits that day. He looked so good and we had a few laughs.
We will miss seeing him every year in August.

Linda - I'm so very sorry, but words are not enough, never enough to express how much it meant to me to bring my boys up with both you and MOW as our neighbors. I never had to worry about what was going on at my house while I was away, because Merritt would always provide a FULL report when I got home. He was the very best, and I'm honored to have known him as both a neighbor and a friend. Here's to all the cigars and toddy's in your new resting place, MOW. You deserve them all.
